Responsibilities: I design, develop and maintain critical pricing and risk infrastructure components, manage a multi-regional development team and deal with front office and regulatory requirements. Technologies used include C++, C#, Java, VBA, SQL (MS/Oracle), Perl, Python and a propietary in-house functional language. I am also global head of training for this in-house technology, and I manage a team of developers and BAs in LDN and Pune, India.

Responsibilities: I was in charge of a number of research projects connected with the automated harvesting and analysis of large datasets, mainly in the realm of commodities and property. I developed several large, automated systems, primarily in Perl and a combination of scripting technologies.

I am a keen chess and Go player. I enjoy walking, cooking, comedy films, investment and business development.

I also enjoy writing both fantasy literature and comedy. The first book of my fantasy trilogy "Wilderness" has been published online here, and my light-hearted travel-diary Partout le Magasin is available here. My large scale travel-diary / comedy-spy-adventure Four Euros Only is published here. A few years back I wrote a book on the topic of evolutionary psychology and cognitive neuroscience. The introduction is available here. I am currently working on a Science Fiction novel, and a popular review of the history of modern science. I am aiming to publish the latter at some point in 2014.
